PAGING AMMENDUM The increases in our business operating costs (fuel, maintenance, short term capitol and site rents), have exceeded original estimates for this year. Earlier this year we consolidated all of our business operations into our Long Beach, WA shop where we have a regular staff person. Our pager repair depot remains in Neah Bay. The West End system suffered two lightening strikes late last year that damaged our Neah Bay paging terminal. It was not cost effective to repair it, so we moved all customers to our Port Angeles terminal. All pagers now have Port Angeles numbers (we have a limited supply of 800 PageLine numbers) and pages repeat sequentially through our transmitters located in Port Angeles, Neah Bay and Forks. In May the power supply for the Forks transmitter failed. The replacement commercial grade power supply cost $1500.00. Last years Hurricane force winds did substantial damage to our Pacific County paging system. Insurance covered two thirds of the repair costs, and we got a loan to cover the rest. Coverage in Eastern Clallam was reduced by the removal of our Maynard Peak transmitter late last year. We had to few subscribers in this end of the county to be profitable. Some customers still report coverage at the higher elevations (Blue Mountain & Deer Park). What we need the most to see in our business to keep providing these services at the lowest prices possible is consistency in the numbers of customers that use our services. With more customers (more pagers) the costs per customer decrease and with less customers (less pagers) these costs increase. To help us keep your costs low we need you to renew your service agreement with us on an annual basis. If you have six or more pagers you can enter into a 3 or 5 year binding contract which will gives you a guaranteed 10-20% discount off of our published retail rates.
